Well Kurt, you dont have a top 5 pick from the Falcons anymore. Will made some great moves and took advantage of the salary cap and using it to gain leverage in some of his trades.

Future Dynasties?

Danish T'Wolves - Diaw and Peja were the two big names in this trade. A lot of teams have different opinions, but I think the Rebels are going to regret this one. Boris Diaw is a triple-double waiting to happen everytime he steps on the court. Peja can shoot the rock but nothing else. Rush also picked up a 1st round pick, tenth overall. The Rush have a bright future ahead of them now, can't wait to see what it will look like after the draft. I say the Rush got the best of it in this trade.

7/22/06 - Danish T-Wolves send their 06/07 1st round pick(T-Wolves),06/07 2nd round pick(Conquest), Jamal Magloire, and Tony Allen to the Whitbourne Falcons
Whitbourne Falcons send their own 07/08 1st and 2nd round picks

T-Wolves pick up another 07/08 1st round pick and this pick should be a pretty good one. Falcons, though, get the #9 pick in this years draft, a decent center, and a guard with some potential. From what I have heard, I feel like the Rebels offered a better deal. I just had to stick that in. Overall a pretty even trade, but I have to give this one to the T-Wolves just because it gives them another chance to get you know who...

7/22/06 - West Michigan Wildcats send Zarko Cabarkapa to Harleysville Gangstez
Harleysville Gangstez send Roko Ukic to Wildcats

Straight forward trade, both teams are looking for potential at certain positions. From what I have seen from Cabarkapa, I like his style. He has that european inside outside game. Don't know much about Ukic, so I have to give this one to the Gangstez of Harleysville

7/23/06 - Jax Beach Waves send Ben Gordon to Roseville Rage
Roseville Rage send 06/07 1st round picks(Rebels and Conquest) to the Waves

Everyone saw this one coming, everyone in the league knew that GM Tweed was going to get his hands on Ben Gordon one way or another. He admitted he overpaid but he got that man he wanted. I have to give this one to the Waves for getting great value for Gordon.

7/24/06 - California Spoilermakers send 06/07 1st round pick(Waves) and James Singleton to the Seatown Rebels
Seatown Rebels send Johan Petro and Nick Collison to the Spoilermakers

Petro has a ton of potential left and Collison might land the starting gig. Rebels will probably regret this one, especially if they dont get the player they were going for with the 11th pick in this years draft. Overall, I say the Spoilermakers get this.

To Be Continued...

Trades

Winners and losers of all the trades that have happened so far.

7/01/06 - Rebels trade 07/08 2nd rd pick(Rebels) to Singularity for 06/07 2nd rnd pick(Legends)

This trade helped both teams out. Singularity felt like their team was stacked and couldn't fit another player so he traded his 2nd round pick this year for Rebels 2nd round pick next year. The Rebels were thinking they could get a pretty good prospect as the Singularity pick turned out to be the 30th pick overall, which is an NBA first round pick.

Tie

7/05/06 - Gangstez trade C/PF Stromile Swift to Bulls for 07/08 2nd rnd pick(Bulls)

Bulls recieve an extremely athletic big man who can play either the center of power forward position. Swift still hasn't reached the level he should be at. The trade back to Memphis could be the icebreaker, he still has a lot of potential to fill and is still only 26 yrs old. Gangtez gain a second round pick in next years strong draft, the pick will probably be in the early 30s. But he might regret the day he gave Swift away, at 26, this could be his breakout year.

Winner - Bulls

7/17/06 - Dust Devils trade SF/SG Tracy McGrady to Conquest for PF Charlie Villanueva & SF/SG Richard Jefferson

Conquest get T-Mac, one of the few superstars in the league who can put up a consistent 40 fp a night. But only when he is healthy. Devils Get all-star Richard Jefferson and future all-star Charlie Villanueva. If T-Mac can stay health and help the Conquest win a championship, then Conquest wins this trade, but that is yet to be seen.

Winner - If Conquest wins title, Conquest wins the trade. But for now i see the Devils as the winners in this trade.

7/18/06 - Conquest trade 07/08 1st and 2nd rnd picks(Conquest), C Andrew Bogut, SF Luke Jackson, SG Quinton Ross, and PG TJ Ford to Fusion for C/PF Jermaine O'Neal

The two reigning division champs agree on a trade. And again, Conquest go for an injury prone superstar. But overall, Conquest gets one of the top center eligible players in the league, if not the best. Fusion aquired some nice prospects, including former 1st overall pick C Andrew Bogut, and two picks in next years draft including a first rounder. But this trade might take Conquest straight to the top.

Winner - Conquest

Rumors, Just Rumors...

Seattle (AP) - Rumors have been brewing, and here are a few rumors that have been reported with the past few days:

A few teams have contacted the Rebels about the availability of Boris Diaw. GM Cabang has rejected all the offers so far, saying, "Amare may be back, but that doesn't mean that Diaw can't build on the season he had last year. Diaw can play the 2 guard all the way to the 5 spot, which means theres always a position on the court for him to fill."

Sources are saying that the Falcons are trading their 1st rounder next year...for a top ten pick this year? There were other players and picks reportedly involved in the trade, but weren't exactly stated.

Monte Ellis and Louis Williams to the Rebels? GM Ronald Cabang told reporters that he was interested in inquiring the two young guards from the Wizapins. He believes that the Wizapins need a veteran like Jason Kidd if they are aiming for the playoffs this year.

Steve Nash cut his hair.

Stephen Zhang staying put for now. While the rest of the league is throwing offers at him for Singapore's 1st round pick next year, he claims that he has already won next years Oden sweepstakes.

Phoenix Fusion general manager, Howard Saccoliti, has been contacting teams and offering some prospects for 07/08 first round picks. One of the GM's that he has contacted said "one of the prospects Howard offered me will be a future all-star."
The Seatown Rebels and LA Jam have been exchanging phone calls the past few days, but the two teams can't seem to agree with anything. Theres no telling how this situation will end.

Need a Kidd or How About a Mobley?

Seattle, WA - Last week GM Ronald Cabang told reporters that rebuilding was not in the near future for the Seatown Rebels. It seems like it has taken GM Cabang only one week to change his mind. He has been shopping both veterans Jason Kidd and Cuttino Mobley for prospects and draft picks. With the reigning most improved player, Boris Diaw, and sixth man of the year, Mike Miller, already on board, the rebels are now looking for young prospects to help build a future championship contender. The Rebels are in need of a young point gaurd and power forward and possibly a center if Johan Petro stuggles during training camp.

Kidd and Mobley led the Rebels to the playoffs in the organizations first season in the FBF. If it weren't for an injured Mobley and a mental mistake by the coach, the Rebels might have squeezed past the Ducks in the first round, but we will never know. Jason Kidd and Cuttino Mobley could help out more then half of the teams in the FBF. They could even turn a team into a contender. There have been a couple of rumors reported about a deal surrounding the Rebels and a team from the Van Gundy Division. Sources say that the deal may contain Cuttino Mobley and that the only thing stopping the deal from going through is for financial reasons.
