Trades

Winners and losers of all the trades that have happened so far.

7/01/06 - Rebels trade 07/08 2nd rd pick(Rebels) to Singularity for 06/07 2nd rnd pick(Legends)

This trade helped both teams out. Singularity felt like their team was stacked and couldn't fit another player so he traded his 2nd round pick this year for Rebels 2nd round pick next year. The Rebels were thinking they could get a pretty good prospect as the Singularity pick turned out to be the 30th pick overall, which is an NBA first round pick.

Tie

7/05/06 - Gangstez trade C/PF Stromile Swift to Bulls for 07/08 2nd rnd pick(Bulls)

Bulls recieve an extremely athletic big man who can play either the center of power forward position. Swift still hasn't reached the level he should be at. The trade back to Memphis could be the icebreaker, he still has a lot of potential to fill and is still only 26 yrs old. Gangtez gain a second round pick in next years strong draft, the pick will probably be in the early 30s. But he might regret the day he gave Swift away, at 26, this could be his breakout year.

Winner - Bulls

7/17/06 - Dust Devils trade SF/SG Tracy McGrady to Conquest for PF Charlie Villanueva & SF/SG Richard Jefferson

Conquest get T-Mac, one of the few superstars in the league who can put up a consistent 40 fp a night. But only when he is healthy. Devils Get all-star Richard Jefferson and future all-star Charlie Villanueva. If T-Mac can stay health and help the Conquest win a championship, then Conquest wins this trade, but that is yet to be seen.

Winner - If Conquest wins title, Conquest wins the trade. But for now i see the Devils as the winners in this trade.

7/18/06 - Conquest trade 07/08 1st and 2nd rnd picks(Conquest), C Andrew Bogut, SF Luke Jackson, SG Quinton Ross, and PG TJ Ford to Fusion for C/PF Jermaine O'Neal

The two reigning division champs agree on a trade. And again, Conquest go for an injury prone superstar. But overall, Conquest gets one of the top center eligible players in the league, if not the best. Fusion aquired some nice prospects, including former 1st overall pick C Andrew Bogut, and two picks in next years draft including a first rounder. But this trade might take Conquest straight to the top.

Winner - Conquest

The Gangstez GM/Owner knew a thing or 2 about Swift that many didn't know, hence the reasoning for the trade. All that can be said is that it will decrease Swift's value considerably. Stay tuned.

I don't see the oneal trade as a win for Conquest. Clearly he overpaid for the huge salary. 6 for 1 deals are usually reserved for lebron types.

I think the Conquest made a huge deal getting T-Mac, but not for O'Neal... not because of O'Neal talent, he is terrific, but he has injury problems just like T-Mac, imagine if both gets hurt.
But a GM have to take risks to win an championship and Pablo was the best GM last season so I believe in the Conquest.

And whats that Swift secret?? I'm curious..

once again Howard bends the young and innocent over and does to them what you usually have to pay a hefty fee for in Amsterdam.

Getting Bogut for an overpaid and often injured BabyFace, does seem like yet another extension of the Fusion Rule... somehow I wouldn't be surprised if an under the table deal for the next 18 first rounders are in there as well.

Howard is the Colangelo of the FBF... all bow down (but keep your trousers up).

There's no easy final word about the outcome of this deals. But as far as the superstar going to Spain, only the playoffs can tell! I'm still curious to see what happens with Swift!! At least we have some deals to talk about!
